Program in Massachusetts

Our program is designed to support the development of new community doulas in Roxbury, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, and Quincy Massachusetts, and support improved maternal health outcomes for patients in its immigrant populations.

Community-based doulas are dedicated professionals who work closely with clients, often young, low-income, and lacking in support. From several months before birth through the postpartum period, these doulas offer invaluable support, attending births and providing crucial guidance and assistance in the weeks and months following delivery.

Wingwomen's Community Doula Program is committed to empowering individuals and families in the Greater Boston area, ensuring that every birthing person receives the care and support they need to navigate this significant life event with confidence and dignity.
